NOTE NOTE NOTE…..I am currently in the process of totally redoing steelersalarycap.com.  As a result the web page may be down for small time periods, and I am only going to update the main page table.  The main page table has all steelers roster changes accounted for except Greg Warren and Nick Eason.  I will be updated the table soon for these two players…I have Warren’s info, but not Eason’s.

No other links will work…only this main page.  Additionally, the main page previously was /default.aspx.  It is now /index.html.

I hope to have enough of the new page finished before the draft to make the change.  It will not be completely finished for a little longer….and will probably under go several changes until I get things the way I want them.

Warren’s contract reduced his 08 cap value by $140,334.  So I have the steelers with around $1.682 million of cap room….not including Eason’s signing.

The Unofficial Steelers Salary Cap Page is somewhat detailed (and updated) look at the salaries, bonuses, and salary cap values of each of the Steelers.  The information contained here is NOT OFFICIAL.  The main sources for the information contained on this page are the NFLPA, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the USA Today.  Other sources, such as ESPN and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review (along with other online sources), are used.   Some contract details are hard to find; especially LTBE bonuses and NLTBE bonuses.  I do my best….

Being born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, I have always been a Steelers fanatic.  I follow and document the Steelers salary cap as a “hobby” and make no money doing so.

This page makes no attempt to explain the somewhat confusing rules/terms of the salary cap.  However, many online sources are available to locate such information.  Above is a link, SALARY CAP EXPLANATION LINKS, which has links to web pages with explanations to salary cap terms.

Steelers Salaries (PAST) – note…the first year of the salary cap was 1994:
